Mat the Cat

I’ve been working on a short story for the past few months. “Mat the Cat” is the story of Mat, his new friend Marcy and his stuffed tiger, Stuffy. It’s a bit of an odd thing, if I do say so myself. Odd in a fun way. The tone is light and easy. Both Mat and Marcy are trying to figure out who they are and then various things happen along the way: psych wards, missiles, car dealerships and a very strange tarot card reading.

I finished the rough draft yesterday. It came in at just over 20K words. I posted the first part (episode #1) on the Short Stories page back in November. I just posted Episode #2. I will polish up the story and add more episodes over the next couple of weeks then publish it on kindle.
