Science Fiction Is For Everyone

L.A.ser Boy and other stuff

July 29th, 2019

As noted on the welcome page, I’ve taken L.A.ser Boy down from Amazon. As readers of my earlier posts know, I have been hard at work on the succeeding books in the Long Invasion series. I still am. As I was revising books two, three and four (the Big Redo as I call it), certain ideas came to me. I don’t think at this point that I will need to change anything in book one (L.A.ser Boy) but there is the slimmest of chances that I might have to. So, just in case, I have pulled it from Amazon for now. I will put it back up (possibly in a new format, but that’s another conversation for another time) when the whole series is done. I am estimating the start of 2020 for all the books to be ready. A new decade, a new superhero universe. That makes sense to me.

In other news, partly to take a break from working on L.A.ser Boy and partly because the idea simply demands to be written and written right now, I will use the next two weeks to write a new short story/novella. I won’t give any details yet as it’s way early in the writing process and things could change drastically. The basic idea is one that I’ve been kicking around for more than a decade but just never could get a handle on. I have that handle now so I’m writing it now.

That’s all for now. I will update when the short story is in good enough shape to share.
